12 hours a day for 365 days is only 4,380 hours. You would have to average 8.71731 hours a day every day without stopping since launch to hit 35k. And as you mentioned you took off a year thats 9.589 hours every day for 10 years.

OP is likely prone to exaggeration, deliberate or not. For example, 10,000 hours is roughly equivalent to working 40 hours per week for five years. Minecraft has only been out for a little over six years, which means Minecraft was literally this guy's job for five of those six years.

Is it OK to let my kid play Minecraft for hours? An open-ended building game with seemingly endless possibilities, Minecraft can be mighty engrossing. On the plus side, Minecraft can reinforce geometry concepts as it strengthens players' thinking and reasoning skills, creativity, and even collaboration. The game has a strong, positive online

Note: This experiment only applies to technical players. 12 hours minecraft and maybe 1 hour on other games. Depends on what I have in mind. If I have a project to do I can easily go 8+ hours on that. If not I sometimes just swing by to do two hours of normal Minecraft stuff.

How long should I play Minecraft every day? The rule of thumb for healthy video-game play is one hour per day maximum. ... Since Minecraft is not recommended for 5-year-olds no matter what rating system you're looking at, it may be better to hold off. An hourly clock is a redstone intensive device that makes some indication of when an in-game hour has passed. This clock is just an extension of the standard 4 clock, except that this is a 75- or 150-clock. Note that one in-game hour is equal to 50 seconds of real-time. Also, this program is best done with inventory editing, due to the amount

The difficulty with making a 12 hour clock is that Minecraft has a 20 minute day, so to divide each day/night cycle into 24 hours would require each Minecraft 'hour' to be 50 seconds; however, with the inclusion of the turntable timer that clocks accuratly at 0.5/1/2/5... etc seconds, we can build an accurate Minecraft clock with just a little

I do work 12+ hours a day, sometimes. In fact this week will be a 60+ hours week for me. And less than 10% of it was non-coding things. But I also have 20 hour work weeks most times. Out of average 52 weeks a year, i have 10 weeks of day/night work, 20 weeks of chill work and the rest is normal 40 hours a week work.
