Personally I've found that an early wrist hinge is best for ME. Once my wrist are cocked the only other thing I'm thinking about is the shouldler rotation to the top of my backswing (which I have shortened quite a bit). I think this is one of those things where everybody is going to have a different preference based on what works best for THEM.
