I went to the GR Research website and looked at the B16 power cable. From the picture it looks like the connectors on that are the same cheap Chinese makes I bought off ebay a couple years ago. The prongs or blades looked like they were sprayed with copper colored paint and the threads for the wire clamps inside would easily strip out.
