18 years ago. I can't think of any "good" when it comes to Greyhound. They're bad enough that I would never consider them for travel personally. Although you would probably live to tell the tale, the bus stations are usually in the "not so great" parts of town and the clientele is a mixed bag to say the least.

Overall, since most people have cars, intercity bus travel is a niche market so there isn't much room for competitors. Megabus is a decent alternative in the US.
