So, a friend wants to sell me his grandfather's old 1974 Honda CB125. It has been sitting in a basement since at least 1981, has only 2200 miles, and appears to be in otherwise excellent condition. Haven't checked out the inside of the gas tank yet - although there is a small area of peeling paint on the outside of the tank.

Re: CB125 No Spark...at a loss. « Reply #4 on: March 22, 2018, 07:47:13 pm ». If the points don't ever close you will not get spark. It looks to me like it is wired correct. Try adjusting the points down to where they close and still open. Don't worry about the gap right now, then see if you're getting spark.
