800 zulrah kcs and 100 cg is huge on hcim, 1800 skill level is nothing at all. I mean 85% of people are dumb and die to wolves at lvl 3 that's why they think it's a huge achievement to get 1800s. Even quest cape is easy to get as hcim, I did it with 0 trouble. But zulrah or cg is super hard to live even thru a few kills

Finished DS2 on the HCIM, was doing post quest Vorkath for the assembler upgrade. Got a squiggly acid phase and end up getting ring of lifed and land in the Falador castle courtyard poisoned with 4 hp. My thought process for the next few seconds was "oh my god I just died" notice my hp "holy shit I'm still alive" poison hits "nope, I'm dead"

One thing I found, is that on the last phase when you are "flinching" with pray mage up. Make sure you have auto retalliate on and start 13 squares away from glough instead of just 10-11. With auto retal and taking a few extra steps, you can get 2 hits per flinch in (1 hit before he pulls you in and 1 hit after he pulls you closer to him).

Just to be a bit more explicit with the poison thing, logging out resets the poison timer. The numbers are wrong, but lets say your poison ticks every 10 seconds. Knocking out a 40+ hour firemaking grind also prepared me for the fact that there's a LOTTT of extremely long grinds on irons. Otherwise my tips for the first few months of your account (in my experience) birdhouses ASAP and as often as you can. seaweed runs when you do birdhouse runs. herb runs and unlocking all 8 patches ASAP.

On my successful attempt, I took a hit from the darkness attack and another from his lightning but still ended the fight with 1 tick eat left. I don't think he's easy, but I haven't even attempted SOTE or DS2 because of the one shot mechanics and this boss didn't really scare me the same way. I had to cheese MM2 for reference.
