The Monastic settlement at Glendalough is stunning. The visitors centre is a three or four minute walk and though not essential, it does provide a nice bit of historical context and explanation for the site. Access to the car oark costs €4 and the visitors centre exhibition costs snother €5 but the actual Monastic Site is completely free.

Glendalough is stunning and an absolute must see, it is a lovely walk from where the coach parks to the lakes. We thoroughly enjoyed the sheep dog trials and found this fascinating. We had plenty of time at each location, the bus does leave on time so don't be late!

Autumn in Glendalough is stunning, in October the colours add a new dimension to the dramatic scenery with warm colours and views unhindered by the leaves on trees. Have a look at our gallery to see some of the scenes you can expect to see in Autumn.

3. Glendalough Valley. And if you happen to be more a nature rather than a history person, you will certainly have a lot to do at Glendalough. The hiking trails along the Upper Lough and around the valley are known across Ireland, and are incredibly popular.

Glendalough is stunning, very peaceful and lots of history to learn about around the mountains. A stones throw away in Glencree, there's a graveyard for German WW2 soldiers. Howth is very pretty, would have more shops for chips and Icecream, there's starbucks and insomnia, more selection for restaurants and of course fresh fish. Would be easier

September is one of the driest months in Ireland. You will get rain, potentially often too, however, you also have good chances of bright days with little humidity. The best way to prepare for the weather is to have a light rain layer that you can take on and off. While sometimes you have days of solid rain, most of the time in September you

Also, see if you can find how long they've been on, as you can go quite low if they've had it on the market for a while. For instance this one, dropped €70K in Sept 2017, so it's been on the market for quite a while and if I was offering on it I would start 15% under and they would probably settle for 10% under. Quote.
