If I understand the Groudspeak Rules on Deleting Logs correctly, you can delete logs that contain spoilers, but you have to email the log owner.. I would prefer deleting over altering a spoiler log, at least when the spoil is obvious. Because when someone is clearly breaking the rules, they should have to go the "hassle" of write a new log, to get that cache counted.

Another I was with a friend looking for a place to hide a cache and he picked up some rocks to show that would be a nice hide, and low and behold, there was already a cache there. A cache is usually a small watertight box, provided with a logbook and the "treasure". Nowadays this can also be such a small cache (nano cache) that there is only a logbook in it.

Aside from the spoilers on the online description and logs, there are also physical spoilers--somebody might place a stick in the hole in the tree where the cache is placed, or something along those lines.
