If I understand the Groudspeak Rules on Deleting Logs correctly, you can delete logs that contain spoilers, but you have to email the log owner.. I would prefer deleting over altering a spoiler log, at least when the spoil is obvious. Because when someone is clearly breaking the rules, they should have to go the "hassle" of write a new log, to get that cache counted.

The cache for a puzzle. We logged it. Another I was with a friend looking for a place to hide a cache and he picked up some rocks to show that would be a nice hide, and low and behold, there was already a cache there. A few recent threads got me thinking about the taboo surrounding the great evil known as spoilers in cache logs. First, two disclaimers: 1) I've always gone out of my way to avoid posting specific information in my logs which would give away a cache location. 2) This thread is not in response to

Aside from the spoilers on the online description and logs, there are also physical spoilers--somebody might place a stick in the hole in the tree where the cache is placed, or something along those lines. Here in Minnesota, most of the physical spoilers have been inadvertent--tracks in the snow going to and from the cache site.
