For me, it's yes and no. Personally, I thought the entirety of season 2 was enough to show us that the wildlings are people too. Maybe it's just me but I thought they could have saved that effects budget for scenes like I also think they could have used a bit of that to not make the Sand Snakes look like the mid-evil pussycat dolls.
