It is a shame that there is so much PvP on PvE servers. Especially since people can't protect themselves like they can on PvP servers. If someone kites something to a tribe's base on a PvP server the dinos and auto-turrets can cut them down but there's nothing that can really be done on a PvE server at the moment. Yes it's pvp and this is the risk but it feels like it's not being played with any respect or etiquette. I like the idea of starting small to build up to something more but the fact a wyven can wipe everything in minutes is spoiling the appeal of pvp.

I think that's the case. While I'm not going to pretend PvE is full of "fun-loving Carebears" because PvE players can be toxic and trollish, but usually in passive-aggressive ways, most "PvP" in Ark isn't PvP at all. It's griefing and maybe some ganking, but rarely is it really PvP. "Raiding for Resources"? Unless you're still in the Thatch or Wooden Building phase, you're likely going to use
