Striking in UFC 5 is complete dogshit. Hit detections are waaaaayyyy off. Punches are OP. Kicks do no damage. Animations don't correlate to any quality of the strike (level 3 teeps look and feel worse than level 1 & 2) Distance doesn't matter, spamming off balance strikes against a block is enough for a clean KO.

Join Date: May 2016. EA Sports UFC 4 - Knockout Mode Gameplay - KO Compilation. From MMAGAME. Doesn't look great at all, animation wise. Pretty much identical to UFC 3, and honestly, in this video in particular it almost seems to have less "final" animations (though I know it doesn't), where the fighter is out cold on their back.

I've got around 600 hours on ufc 4 alone and even more hours on ufc 2 and 3. i have never had this issue even once, what i've noticed is i got more points when winning by submission, but ko and opponent rage quitting mid fight

SquishyTheTitan. ADMIN MOD. Not a fan of the sparring in UFC 4. I'm really not a fan of how, if you knock out your sparring partner, that's it for that training. They're hurt and you can't train in that aspect anymore. In UFC 3, it would do the knockout animation and then effectively just restart right where you left off.

Knowing EA, my hopes are low though until i see an in depth walkthrough or experienceit myself. Will still probably buy day 1 because UFC 4 is my most played game and I have no other option. Really wish 2k got UFC. They're predatory as fuck but at least their gameplay is undeniable. Edit: Also, I know there is clinch denial this time round
