KKayTea. ADMIN MOD. Beats by Dre were always trash. A bit outdated, as no one buys them anymore but the idea just popped up in my head. They cost 20 dollars to make and were being sold for 170+. Of course, business is all about profit, and that's ok. But they were never worth the price, and only gained popularity through Dr Dre making his

Dre should open up a "museum" where you can listen to all the unfinished tracks he produced over the years. It would have like a 20$ entry fee and you have to bring your own headphones, when you bring Beats by Dre you get like 5$ off. Have big Screens everywhere showing music videos from over the years. It would be like a West-Coast Hip Hop Mecca.

Dr. Dre isn't overrated IMO he made the beats for N.W.A, his own solo shit, Snoop, 50, Em, Blackstreet, Xzhibit… just to name a few. His beats are iconic. I think it's just the new generation wants to hate on the old school shit. Much like the old heads do to the new shit.

TIL In 1990, Dr. Dre beat the crap out of a woman over an interview with Ice Cube. He picked her up by her hair, slammed her head repeatedly against a brick wall, all while his bodyguard held off the crowd with a gun. After trying to throw her down the stairs, he punched her in the back of the head.

He's been a great and versatile producer (i.e. he can make up new sounds and adapt with time). From what I know, he was producing beats from the late 80's all the way until like 2015 . Dre's beats evolved and sounded different throughout for many years but his beats always sounded really good all the time and he never disappointed. Every
