In the first 2 Dead Space, regardless what was unfolding, the camera always stays close to Isaac, usually hovering over his shoulder. From the looks of recent trailers, the cutscenes now look like something you'd see in other games, where the camera can pan from anywhere.

Time-Echidna-8644. Well the remake is integrating an intensity director, so something really can happen at pretty much any given time. Despite the original game having less cutscenes, it was entirely scripted, so that feeling only lasts for your first playthrough, there's nothing to surprise you on a second run.

Definitive answer for running at 60fps. This game is nearly 8 years old and there still doesn't appear to be a fix for the 30fps lock. I'm using an NVIDIA 980m on my laptop. At the moment I have two choices; 1. Play the game with vsync on which runs at 30fps with sluggish controls and takes about 40 seconds at each load point.

The Cutsequences and unskippible moments are the meat of the game. If you -could- skip them, you could beat the game in 3-4 hours. And after reading those postings over on Gamespot, they don't want players having that much freedom anymore. That said, I should see if there is a speedhack available for this game.
