I was on USS Bainbridge CGN-25 and we rode out Hurricane Gloria off the coast of Virginia. 50 Foot swells and blue water all the way to the Bridge level. 30-35 degree rolls and on one of those rolls while OOD I was on a bridge wing looked aft and saw the MK-46 Triple tube launcher on the 01 level go under water.
