Yorinobu Killed his father out of fear. Surfing on spoilers discussion i seem to find a common misunderstanding that the main plot happened mostly because yorinobu Arasaka appears to be a power-hungry moron. Now that it is possible to retrieve Saburo Arasaka Diary (albeit quite tricky), i can back up my claim that Yorinobu not only is the the

After he finds V and calls Yorinobu, Yorinobu orders assassins to kill both Takemura and V to tie up any loose ends. This confirms Takemura's suspicions that Yorinobu played a role in Saburo's death, since there was no other reason Yorinobu would order Takemura killed otherwise. 17. Reply. Award.

Yeah Yori definitely was the true hero of Cyberpunk 2077, he was going to eliminate both his father, his sister and the rest of Arasaka abd stop Saburos "secure your soul" abomination. Wild that Adam Smasher was on the good side during corpo ending, because he was the last line of defense for Yorinobu lol.

1) Yorinobu always hated what his father had done with Arasaka. He broke from the family to form the Steel Dragons, a group who, in the CP 2020 lore, was pretty much dedicated to tearing down Arasaka. However, after years of striking and losing, I think he decided to take Arasaka down from the inside.

Hanako and Yorinobu are an unfortunate case of an extreme misunderstanding, accidentally set in motion by V. His love towards her and trying to protect her from his plans to save the world from Arasaka, is what ultimately kills either him or her. A sad story really. Yorinobu explains to V that he tried everything to bring the Arasaka Empire to an end and stop his father from his ideals. Yorinobu reveals he did not seek power and control, but only to free the people of the tyranny of the Arasaka Corporation and build a better future. Or killed some of his enemies in the chaos - anything will work as long as it influences Yarinobu and makes him anger with everything the corporation represents. While the game doesn't show it, he was probably ordered to kill V immediately and realized his only opportunity to preserve the witness to Saburo death required him to betray Arasaka. Those wierd guys on bike were a Arasaka hit squad, probably sent by Yorinobu to follow Takamura and make sure the deed gets done. < >

His explanation made no sense given the obvious evidence, but Takemura had no choice but to go along. While Takemura is cleaning up the loose ends, Deshawn spills the detail that V witnessed the killing. Now Takemura has another path: expose Yorinobu and bring him to justice.

Did Yorinubo know that Takemura suspected or knew that Yorinubo killed

https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/ny10e5/did_yorinubo_know_that_takemura_suspected_or_knew/
Takemura suspected the moment he saw the corpse. And Yorinobu was well aware of that. Also, Yorinobu obviously knew V didn't kill Saburo, so arresting V could make Takemura doubt (after talking to V, he could see V hardly could have killed Saburo). Also, Dexter explained the plan to Takemura, implying he is aware of the theft Yorinobu committed.

cyberpunk 2077 is based of a TTRPG game made by R TALSORIAN called CYBERPUNK 2020. A TTRPG (tabletop rpg) is something like, dungeons and dragons. The lore of 2020 is what 2077 is based around, quoting and very much mimicking, as 2077 is a direct sequel to 2020.

Yorinobu hated that Saburo looked at his children as tools to forward his legacy. Think of Saburo as Tywin Lannister. Yorinobu also once left the family and started his gang called the steel dragons. This was mentioned by Jackie during the Heist. Jackie and V discuss if he truly was a rebel or just a spoilt rich kid going against his

There should've been choice to side with Yorinobu. Because Yorinobu seems better choice rather than Hanako, Yorinobu wants to break free from the archaic Arasaka (Saburo) while Hanako still want's to let Saburo reign forever. Yorinobu even said that the Arasaka elite afraid of some "talking box" (which I'm agree) lmao. < 1 2 >.

The guy never even considered that his own son would dare to openly defy him in direct confrontation, let alone lay his hands on him. Saburo is so shocked at the moment that he doesn't move a muscle to defend himself. Sure, Yorinobu is chipped bad mofo in his prime, but Yorinobu doesn't even struggle. This would have broken him, had he survived it.
