If you're staying in the city and needing an escape then this beach is pretty good. Get the train from Cais de Sodre, takes about 25-30 mins then a 10-25 mins walk. The beach is served by plenty restaurants, bars and a very nice beach lounge! There are 5 beach volley courtyards, a beach football courtyard, a pirate ship playground for kids, other kid enterteinments and a surf school!
