4am pick up from our hotel in Istanbul - 3hour drive to Sogut (ertugrul) Sogut - Inegol (Turgut Alp) this was in a remote place and difficult to get to as some locals didn't know where it was. Inegol to Bursa : Osman Gazi. And Grand Mosque. Back to hotel in Istanbul around 7pm. This cost me around £270.

Alternatively bus from Istanbul to Bilecik then dolmuş (minibus) from there to Söğüt would be the cheapest and also very straightforward. You can buy tickets from the bus station on the day or the day before you intend to leave. For the price the driver takes you to Söğüt and back you could hire a car for over 3 weeks.

Hello, my experience was amazing. I was in 2 minds either hire a car or use the local buses, I'm glad I didn't do neither. Instead I hired a driver, who was brilliant. My day trip was as follows; 4am pick up from our hotel in Istanbul - 3hour drive to Sogut (ertugrul). Sogut - Inegol (Turgut Alp) this was in a remote place and difficult to get to as some locals didn't know where it was.

Most affordable way (not necessary to be fast and might be less comfortable than renting a car) by bus: Istanbul to Bilecik and from Bilecik take taxi to Sogut. You can also travel by speed train (called YHT) from Istanbul - Pendik or Sogutlucesme train station to Bilecik, then take taxi to Sogut.
