Having said that, it's not been tarted up since inception, and really needs a bit of feather-dusting to bring it into the 21st century. True BA first class is nicer than Virgin Upper Class. But Virgin Upper class is better than BA club world in most configurations. Virgin premium economy is better than all other premium economies. From my experience flying long haul BA 6 times this year, they changed the aircraft last minute 3 times!
