Brotherhood is a much more refined polished version of II, with better graphics, smoother gameplay, and a more focused story. I found Ezio controls better in Brotherhood than II, and liked the tombs more. I did not like the addition of the crossbow though, as it makes a lot of sections too easy. The way they made the assassin's LVL up and the upgrades and cosmetics were awesome (and pretty well fit the setting) and the different ways you could use them.
