Hopefully you won't have to have a fully virtual M1 like I have so far, but it wouldn't hurt to ask students how their schools have handled it. Also, managing mental health is important, so asking about mental health services that the school offers is a great question.

The greatest contributor to my success in medical school has been my ability to pick myself back up when I fail. I imagine the experience is similar for a lot of other med students as well, since this whole process is basically built upon the consistent presentation of impossible challenges. I would ask students about how they handle failure.
