Slavonic Dances, Op. 46 No. 1 by Anton Dvorak is a piece for clarinet in B-flat. It is in a fast Presto tempo at the beginning. The piece has many dynamic contrasts between forte and piano sections. It features rapid sixteenth note passages interspersed with lyrical melodies. The dance-like rhythm and folk-inspired melodies are characteristic of Dvorak's Slavonic Dances.
