It has both analog drums and sampling capabilities, as well as velocity sensitive pads. Neither the Syntakt nor the Digitakt have velocity sensitive pads, but both machines seem to emphasize the synthesis or sampling side that the RYTM can already accomplish. Granted, the DT is digital and the ST also both digital and analog sounds.

The Digitakt has way way more precise parameter editing. Like over 100x the resolution of the Rytm (120 vs 128.00) on a handful of parameters. If you want to accurately pick start and end points on the Rytm you are going to be resampling a good amount whereas on the digitakt you can always get a clean start/end.

What I'm hearing is, you have your sample already on a track on the rytm, and you now plug your hardware synth into the input, and you want to resample both the incoming audio and the sample playing, so that the result is a new sample with both the vinyl clip and what you were playing on the synth?
