I just took the Vermonter from Waterbury to Washington for the first time. Let's just say I'll be going back to the airport next time. It's a 12 hour trip that was delayed an additional 3 hours along the way. The train is actually pretty comfortable. The seats are big with plenty of leg room but it's just so slow.
