Long Lake to Tupper Lake on the Raquette River could probably be done in 3 days. The St. Regis Canoe Outfitters can help with shuttles in the northern Adirondacks, so you can do a through-paddle but still only bring 1 car. They have a bunch of suggested itineraries on their website (scroll down to the section on 3-4 day trips).
