Maybe related or not, here's a little background: Last year I had a loud groaning from the PS pump and found a lot of reference to the wrong PS fluid.

Never had a vehicle of mine do this before, even on -50C days with the wind chill. Anyway, I parked my car in my garage, but it is not heated. Started my 2019 Audi A5 Sportsback yesterday and got the "Steering: malfunction! I just bought and ordered the AU-A04 then found this video and saw that you like the AU-PM401 more, and I do not know what to do. 1. Look for any and all clamps on the hoses, lines, etc below the PS reservoir. If the clamps are original one-time clamps, rip them off and replace with normal hose clamps and tighten, ANY loose fitting o nthe supply line can and will introduce air into the system. Replace the lines themselves if they are suspicious.

Yeah, I saw that. They somehow look very low end to me. I personally wouldn't go back to the VW button wheel after using the R wheel. Also, I am happy using my Audi button wheel and feel it's better thought out than the VW button wheel - but the capacitive R wheel feels more slick and more modern in general and I find myself preferring it in some ways because of it.
