that pretty much sums up my thinking. There is a clear difference between the original cars and the continuations. The originals were the product of Carol Shelby who had a direct hand in the design and manufacture and were produced in period. The continuations are built by super-performance based on Carol's work, with Carol's blessing.

It's a driver's car and nothing compared to the Ford GT which is a tamed version of the GT40. Think of it like this: The Cobra and GT40 are wolves. The Ford GT is a tame lap dog. My car was a 4000 series which is the continuation of the 3000 series - the so-called "big block" cars. Honestly, they are untamed monsters.

ADMIN MOD. Tommy Shelby is actually a shitty person. I loved peaky blinders when I first started the show. Loved the characters, the violent plots, and of course, Thomas Shelby. That all slowed down around season 4. I can't seem to finish season 5. May be an unpopular opinion but Tommy is now one of my least favorite characters.
