My issue with this scene was the boat falling apart in slices like a stack of cards. The distance between the slices appeared large enough to keep big sheets of the ship in tact, so, in reality i think certain thing would fall over or get slices but the overall ship would probably seem unfazed by this due to the weight of the pieces.
