Denali has a wiring kit/harness that makes this a lot easier. It costs about $30 but if you buy it with the horn, you can save about $10 on the package. The wiring kit has has connectors for the Fuse and Relay as well as connectors for the battery, new horn, and oem horn wires so no cutting/splicing is necessary. Here are links:

Denali Sound Bomb Install Advice. I got the split version of this and sort of figured out where to mount the horn portion of it. But the compressor part is baffling me a little. I had the idea of mounting it on the frame below the swingarm and behind the engine (close to the oil filter), but didn't want to inadvertently ruin the compressor unit.

Attaching the Denali soundbomb with BMW R1200 RT specific bracket requires removing " the lower " of the two bolts (fische items #4) from fairing mount (fische item #5). These are located just behind the stock horn bracket bolt, and just rear of the VIN # plate. It is then replaced by a "longer bolt" provided with the kit.

The horn body is mounted to the left inner fender, with a fender washer on the back (outer) side of the panel. The horn is positioned so that the fork clears with at least a 1/4" to spare. Because it is an upside-down fork, the outer tube never moves up/down, so the horn will never interfere with the fork leg.
