I use Skull Candy Bluetooth earbuds they will allow CarPlay functions with of course the exception of Siri voice control I have Some Cardos and I've used Beats ear Buds. I Just wish Apple Play And The Functions worked without the added adaptors and headphones, Something 12v that just installs and you forget it.

Connect the receiver to the second connection, so it will always be on when the bike is on. Pair the USB receiver to the bike and it will think you have the headsets paired.

I have a 2018 Goldwing and an iPhone 6 and am unable to get CarPlay to show up on the Honda menu. I have a Senna 10S headset, paired to the Goldwing (Rider Headset) and, as a second phone, to the iPhone. I've tried with it unpaired to the iPhone. The iPhone is bluetooth paired to the Goldwing, I'm also plugging it into the USB connector.
