My starting point was 90 wpm, I am fast on a qwerty keyboard and I also use to play piano which gave me an advantage on finger strength and flexibility. I started closer to 40 wpm on Qwerty. easily passed 60-80 wpm on Steno with little practice. I am not stuck between 140-160 and trying to get past 160.
