Logic Pro. Uh Oh--Weird Message after setting up my new computer. So I bought a Mac mini M2 pro and migrated my stuff last night. Things seem to be going ok, but I did all of this because Logic (I have two versions for some reason, one called Logic Pro X and one called Logic Pro X (original) had been acting very weird.

Logic Pro X not starting up. So basically, I open Logic, and it has that gray dot at the bottom indicating that it's open, but it really isn't open, and it won't start up. I've tried everything, such as doing the commands to open something, but it kept saying, " Command not available because the app hasn't started up yet."

I recently got a MacBook so that I could start working with Logic recently, and the user interface is very intimidating and complicated but everyone online says it is "easy to learn" and "no fuss!" or whatever 😂. I feel so dumb when looking over the tutorials the DAW has included and just being.. blown away lol.

Just watch some logic videos, learn some basics, and then watch some FL stuff if you run out to get some more ideas. The concepts of layering beats is all the same so once you get familiar with it you can do it pretty quick. Source: started learning logic for hyperpop on my new MacBook back in January.

If the sample is played at 100bpm move the logic project to 100bpm before adding the sample. (Perhaps the logic project is 125bpm.) Add the audio sample. Turn flex on. Since I upgraded to the latest version of Dropbox for Mac (which moved the folder location, etc.), Logic Pro X projects stored in Dropbox no longer show up in File > Open Recent or in the Recent tab of Logic's startup window. The same thing was already happening with Google Drive for Desktop, so I would guess it's a general issue with the File

Tameto. I would then reselect the built-in audio output in Logic and see if by going in the audio midi setup it has cleared the issue, also ensure that Logic 'stereo out' (i.e. the master out) is going to the correct (1/2) outputs of your built in audio.

13.5k. Posted November 29, 2023. They changed the relationship of the Pro/Max chips with the M3. This has nothing to do with Logic. There is a bigger difference between the Pro and Max chips on M3 than the earlier generations. The Max chip is great, and is the one you want for demanding work on M3. Quote.
