Define "good idea". I'm all V4 and it's fine. My dual 2640v4 with 256GB runs at 84 watts according to idrac when it's running idle. My dual 2680v4 with 256GB is hitting close to 200 watts under like 40% load. It all really depends on what you hit it with, what the power-settings are set to, etc.
