J.Mascis uses a topload tele to record the lead parts on most of his stuff. He is the person I thought of when I saw that. Nice feature, I will try it out for sure on mine.

I find the American pro 2 Strat an incredibly high quality musical instrument with no faults whatsoever . Everything about it is so good. I also have an American performer strat which is a beautiful instrument with its own unique sound and feel. I have a player Strat which is a good instrument . I went with Miami blue as it looked quite unique. I originally liked dark knight after seeing it on YouTube videos lol look good stunning but when seeing it in shop found it to be much darker more like black in darker rooms ie without a spotlight shining on it . I found Miami blue colour to be better than expected from videos . Very nice Alamo videos helped me choose - I donāt live in the USA . But these fender guitars are so cool.

The push-push switch on the strat adds the neck pup to positions 1 and 2. On the tele, it switches from series to parallel when in position 2.
