Damn it.🥹🥹🥹My son is autistic. He turned 5 yesterday and I officially introduced him to Coldplay at bedtime. He is nonverbal but signs and uses an ipad to communicate. After each video he would sign “MORE! MORE!” and we stayed up too late watching videos. His favorite is Paradise live in Paris. He is going to do amazing things in this world, just like this sweet young man on stage. Chris, thank you. We should never have to fight for inclusion. You did so much for the autistic community by doing this🙌🫶

I've worked with children who have autism and other impairments. For fifteen years I have taught using the phrase, "It is different but okay." to help our more rigid students accept changes. Fellow neurodivergent here, and I'm really impressed at how Huillo handled that. He must have been seriously overwhelmed and overstimulated, but he made it through like a trouper. Hearing his confidence build when faced with such a big task and a huge audience, this was much better. Thanks to Coldplay for giving him a chance, I'm American and I'd never heard this before. Our world is filled with so many people who think it isn't OK to be different, and too few who embrace being different. When your body and spirit make you different from the accepted norm, it's hard, but people still are different, they work at overcoming the narrow-minded crowd every day. -- I've become very impressed by Coldplay. I knew I liked their stuff when I first heard it long ago, but now, even more so.
