the "happy birthday to you" is so surreal and fits incredibly to create this ominous, nostalgic for a happy memory that was surrounded by a toxic environment part of you life that you try not to remember. idk if this is how other people feel, but I hate that when I was with bad people there were times where I did feel happy. Escaping from the environment and looking back is exactly how this part of the song feels.
