It is terribly unfortunate that Hamas chose to carry out this senseless and violent attack. The tide of western opinion and awareness of the oppression of the Palestinians has been turning, granted far too slowly, but it was. That is all wasted now, as Israel now has the excuse they needed, as well as the domestic and international support they needed, to bulldoze and annex the Gaza Strip.
Just a stupid, counterproductive, and ultimately tragic decision by Hamas.

I get that but also Hamas killing civilians is unacceptable. Israel deserves to fall but Hamas has commited war crimes and killing civilians is not helping the situation for Palestinians.
