There will never be another era in hiphop much like raider klan, odd future, and asap mob. So many great artists came from those groups: frank ocean, syd(the internet), Xavier wulf, bones(although he was doing his own thing too), Denzel curry, Tyler the creator, earl, eddy baker, and many mor. They spawned great mainstream artists and great underground artists that are still putting out good music till this day. Every year after the peak of these groups there has been nothing but copies of what these guys were doing. Truly a special time in underground hiphop tbh. I just wish SGP would be able to get his head right and become successful in his own right

Raider Klan is just artistically eternal
I mean, the whole collective is dead since soo many years, it's true
But just thinking only how many classics the members and affiliates released, they can't be forgotten
For instance, nowadays an affiliate like Ruben Slikk faces frequently legal problems and is a outcast, but its musical and stylistic iconicity can't be forgotten
They just marked totally 2010s underground hip hop scene and the whole general hip hop evolution
Even today, the influence returns in certain artists
The death is real but the raider's legacy surpass it
Great video, anyway

Real ones know if this was decade ago, Raider Klan would be getting onto GTA 6's next miami radio wave.
Watching the beef unfold after seeing Spaceghost on the same show with Trash Talk, didnt realize how special that moment in music was at the time.
I still got the tank top merch from the Raider Klan show back at Slims in the early 10's.

I think Raider Klan had the potential to grow but unfortunately that growth got siphoned and I think what was the biggest nail in the coffin was sgp instead of focusing on music and trying to build his brand he was too busy taking shots at other artists I get it it's a way to generate buzz and to get people talking but that's only for the short term in the music industry think about the long-term and that's whats sgp failed to do and because of that look where he at nowhere

Veterans lock in. These dudes were such a huge part of my high school experience. The print they left on the culture is still seen. Damn shame how it all fell apart.
