I always wanted a TMP or post TMP era tv show. Everything about the 80s films is just so great and well done aesthetically it was wasted not being used more.

Michelle Yeoh is one of the most supreme blessings that Star Trek has ever received. She has done nothing short of her best to help the current generation of Star Trek thrive.

We still need Rachel Garrett saying "Space, the Final Frontier ....." We also need Robert April saying "Space, the Final Frontier ....." Presumably we need Worf saying it, then Shelby and we have a full set.

SNW , much to my surprise, has become my all time favorite. I’m really excited to see what they come up with for 3rd season + got to meet Rebecca Romijin and Jess Bush at Rose City Comicon + they are wonderful human beings. And Melissa Navia has stated we will FINALLlY get Ortega character feature. Having said that, I would LOVE to see Starfleet academy really bring out/expand Tilly character.

I'm very excited for this. A lost era tv trek film is well overdue and Michelle Yeoh is such a good lead actor. They could start a new branch of canon from an era we only have novels about.

I am so excited for all of this. The Enterprise C's defense of Narendra III is one of my most treasured pieces of trek lore because it really encapsulates what starfleet is all about and ultimately what star trek is all about.

Well, Rachel Garrett coming back is more than a pleasant surprise. If they show the Enterprise-C, I wonder if they will retcon the ship and show the original Probert design on camera.

I know it's a long shot to take inspiration from Serpents Among The Ruins, but the idea of seeing Uhura running Starfleet Intelligence seems like such a fun idea.

5:33 that scene is the moment Tim Russ becomes Star Trek legend yet still is the best line in Spaceballs. Look at him here - "we ain't found...."

If you haven’t read the Variety linked in the description I strongly suggest you do so ASAP. It’s one of the best articles in the mainstream press about Trek that I have read in the past few years. It gives a great overview of how things are currently going and what they hope to accomplish in the future. Another great thing about it is it’s accessible to both fans and non fans although there are parts that will make more sense to fans. 😉

Reusing sets is fine as long as the story is interesting and meaningful! I'm excited and look forward to new series and films.

Comparing the ages of the actresses at the times that they played the character that would seem to place the movie around 2332; conspicuously, according to apocrypha from the novels, the year that the Enterprise-C was launched...

Depending on when it is in the Lost Era, we might see some new Excelsior class ship models and maybe, just maybe, modern take or something of an Ambassador set
