I'm already in love with this song. First I only read the text, the second time I listened to the lyrics. And omg, you are capturing a moment in my life perfectly, it makes me feel a weird mixture of nostalgic, sad, ecstatic, calm and at peace, its hard to explain. I don’t usually comment but why does this not have more views, genuinely. Not only is the song itself fantastic but it’s also rlly comforting to hear this while going into my junior year of high school. I remember when this song came out I was not like at a low point but I was kinda stuck because It was the summer before I started college and I had everyone pushing ideas of what I should do for a job because music isn’t enough. Like my parents support me wanting to do music and make and produce my own songs like blanks but they never really have much hope for me with it but y’know here I am almost done with my first semester I’m in 2 different ensembles playing multiple instruments kinda learning how to use DAW’s and enjoying college and feeling like I chose the right choice to follow my dream of becoming a musician. ❤ thank you blanks for everything! You inspired a little freshman in highschool to follow his dream and now he’s following it.
