58:35 the heavies at this stage of the game can be killed with a single headshot, if you hit them in the back of the head, since there's no armor back there. The ones on the sourthern island though have full head protection.

Iâm kinda glad that Vaas is alive in his DLC, it shows how fucked the whole island is and how he wanted to escape it. He genuinely loved his sister but she only did traditions and even wanted him to bang her, which he didnât want to. Itâs also an amazing look into his psyche, and the ending is the cherry on top for Vass.

i actually like to imagine the southern island being so barren is more so due to Hoyt's influence over there, seeing that him and his private army have occupied there more than the northern island. They're much more tactical with the jungle setting: knowing that they won't operate as well in foilage and any other natural source that isn't the solid ground underneath their feet. so they adapted by clearing the trees so that it's definitely much more accessible to them. it goes to show how much more bigger of a threat they were than the Pirates: making you so vulnerable out the open

To be fair the repetiveness of some missions goes with what Vaas tells you. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting things to change." So by this metric Jason is delving more into insanity.

I absolutely love Hoyt; he's my favourite character. Absolutely intimidating and in control. Appearing only after the Rakyat begin losing their grasp on Jason, it's clear why the Rakyat said he was the true evil and why he was the one to be feared; he was the brains of the entire operation.
