At the end of last year my mum, little brother and I left our abusive husband/father to make our way on our own. Itās been really tough at times but even through all the difficulties we have been so much better off without him. The Sunset Tree has been my soundtrack throughout this long and hard journey and I am so grateful to John for making this beautiful music that means so much to me and many others. I live in Australia and am waiting so desperately for the day you come back and tour here; in my dreams I am standing in a crowd singing along to mountain goats songs and it is beautiful and healing.
