I paid $200 for someone to do this because it was intimidating. Thanks for making things I can understand.

Thanks so much for showing how to do this Leah! I've been intimidated about trying to mount one of these units but now I would give it a try. Great instructions as always!!!

I love those wall mounts that allow the TV to swing out and swivel. For me personally the easiest wall mount for TV I've done is using 3/4" plywood. Cut a couple 6 inch strips then ripped those 6 inch strips in half at 45°. Took 2 of the 4 strips and lag bolted them to 3 struds then screwed the other two to the TV mith m6 bolts I believe. Then it was easy to just hang it on the wall. Hard part was cutting the drywall and putting in boxes to run the necessary wires through for power and HDMI. I don't know if I mentioned what system it was but it's called a French cleat

Fancy!! I got one that doesn’t move because never move mine. One piece nailed into the wall don’t need to find studs because of the way the nails go in. Yes it’s for lighter TVs but I don’t watch TV except DVDs lol and not often.this is very nice.

I installed a TV mount a few years ago. It wasn't as fancy as that one, but it was easy to install, and all you really need is a bubble level, drill (with bits), stud finder (optional), and a screwdriver.
