I love how easily hyped the splat community gets over the smallest things, like a few seconds of footage. Same thing happened during the switch announcement video with that first look at splat2.

One small thing I saw is that it seems that you can start "charging" or pulling back the bow on the ground while the bow is horizontal, then jump mid charge and it will make the shot vertical instead of staying horizontal, unlike the roller in Splatoon 2.

I think that the charger sound effects for the bow might just be a placeholder and it'll have it's own unique sound effects in the full release

Note that this probably isn't what the game will look like, since it's still in development. Aside from the obvious lack of a UI, I'd expect the graphics to be a bit different on release. Still, though, this was awesome to see!

Wow, the splat bow is definitely a mix of 3 weapons from splatoon 2. Roller,slosher, and charger.

This most likely explains why we didn't see any Splatoon 3 news in the E3 direct, because Nintendo had already planned on teasing this new LED Switch (which I'm assuming is what people were rumoring to be the Switch Pro) and planned to show new footage for Splatoon 3's online multiplayer and the support of an ethernet cable for smoother connections. So I forgive you Nintendo... this time. Also yes Vian, I saw the inkling's swag walk too lol.
