Before Ethan can even think about running away and escaping, he must first find the vaccine to stop the infection. His only hope of obtaining it is a mysterious woman named Zoe who he has received several phone calls from during his attempt to leave the house. She claims that in order for her to manufacture the vaccine, she needs very specific ingredients, ingredients that are locked away on the second floor of her mother's old house. After surviving the violent confrontation with Zoe's psychotic diseased mother, Ethan makes his way to the second floor to search for the ingredients.
