I am so in agreement with everyone that Wesley Snipes is the ultimate Blade. I honestly don't know if Ali can carry that level of coolness and exact the level of belief in the character that Snipes does, but I guess we'll all have to wait and see 🤔😁.

I agree with many of the comments. Snipes is Blade. The first 2 movies are great. Personally I think Ali is a great choice to continue the Blade saga though. So long as they don’t mess the story up by ticking “the message” boxes, it could be great.

The new film will never hold up to Wesley Snipes' Blade. Snipes brought in, and out something in Blades persona that can't be duplicated. There's something in Snipes, performance, presence and demeanor that makes him as a Day Walker untouchable. Ali's performance may very well be great. I'm looking forward to watching his film, but I'll watch Blade trilogy over and over just to see Snipes in the role
