This collaborators series is fantastic, this album really deserves its own behind the scenes story with all the protagonists I am a baby boomer and music became nonsensical to me from the nineties on, I almost alienated it completely and had no interest let alone know who were the movers and shakers of the new millennium. One day i overheard some strange but beautiful sounds of music playing on the background, they seem familiar but confused me a little at the same time, then the next song told me there was more of the same where that came from and that became really interesting, by the third track i knew I needed to find out who the artist was, it was that important. After i arrived home and played RAM several times i knew this masterful work was special in every sense of the way, it not only captured the spirit of am era but it really serves as that bridge we never had between the time "the music stopped" for no reason, taking all our experiences and memories with it to be replaced with the material, programable and tech world, and telling us that those feelings and memories can be recaptured if we only put our hearts and minds to it. Bravo Daft Punk, you gave me a new lease on life, a new interest to search for more of the music out there i gave up on, you rekindled my imagination, my fantasies, my curiosity for learning and gave me a spark to ignite the sleeping soul in me for the years i have left. RAM is story telling, it's perspective, it's freedom, it's possibilities, is a collage of emotions, thoughts, feelings all combined in a beautiful timeless work of art and essence of the human spirit. I really think the robots wanted to capture happiness and bottle it for posterity and for a lost generation and they did. It really means a lot.
