OG here! Moved from So. Cali. drug wars that summer to Silicon Valley sitting on bus with Walkman still have flashbacks. 'Fight The Power' came out '88 and both were groundbreaking jams. Rakim and Big Daddy Kane, imo, were original two biggest solo rappers that 'mapped' rap on earth! All others, basically, learned from them. Met 2Pac in Oakland at a club/concert playing with Digital Underground, (Humpty) also, Too Short, Hammer later, etc. lot of memories.
