TRRT (Terrorhythm) is a fast-paced Action Rhythm game, where you will act as the emissary of sound, to fight back against the silence! Every move is a beat to the rhythm, and every enemy will test your reflexes to attack enemies, manage your target range, and power up for killer charged attacks. Hey I noticed you actually did get Knights and Bikes! Hope your enjoying and have someone to play with (even tho solo play is great too) but anyway I bought TRRT a week or two ago when it was only $1 and haven’t played it yet but now I want too bcuz of your review. I actually make music (mostly electronica so this game seems cool just hope I don’t experience lag) Music Racer is another cool rhythm game I got for switch even tho the PC version is way better since you can use your own music. I wish switch would allow that. Anyway great review as always man. Right to the point while getting the pros and cons across clearly. Always enjoy me a new Budget Gamer joint

Hope you’ve been well! This little Switch is such a great gaming machine. I love the unique experiences like this game even with its flaws. Recently, I purchased a little gem called Snack World. It might not be a budget game but at $50 it has been a neat game to play. Also, Runbow was a great game I purchased for $5 last weekend.

EDIT. Since you liked this you should try the rhythm based beat em up, Way of the Passive Fist if you haven't. I think it does the same thing even better. But that's just one guys opinion.

Have you considered playing and/or reviewing Ciel Fledge? It's a cute little Indie game on the Switch about raising a daughter in the future during an alien invasion. It sounds ridiculous, but the game is fantastic so far. The gameplay is similar to what I've seen of Princess Maker. I haven't seen many people talking about it yet.

I'm not a big fan of rhythm games but this looks like one if I saw for under a buck, I'd seriously think about it.
But I have to say this BG. It really is games like this that make me wish the Switch supported Bluetooth headphones and ear buds! You mentioned the soundtrack and my first thought was my headphones! Haha.

This looks really cool. I love quirky rhythm games. One of my favorite games of all time was Elite Beat Agents on the DS. You ever play that weird game?

Great review. Decided to get the game since the issues didn't sound that bad. My luck strikes again and the lag spikes happen a lot, even on the first stage. When the game does work properly though, it's really fun. That's what makes it sad it doesn't run that well. Maybe I should have got Kawaii Deathu Desu instead 😅

The best moments of this game is when you perfectly sync your hits with the beats of the songs. Because then the hit sounds are synced perfectly with the song playing, and it makes you feel like a major bad ass.

That lag seems super unfortunate...but it's on sale for .99 so I think I'll give it a go! Maybe they'll throw in a performance patch, if they haven't already. Those animations are just so slick, it really helped sell this one ahead of a lot of other indies.

That lag is poor optimization. If the Switch can run MK11, Witcher III, Wolfebstein II and DOOM, this game shouldn’t harsh its mellow lol

Looks like a poor man's version of One Finger Death Punch 2, which is also on the Switch, but that isn't rhythm based, just amazing animated fighting stick figures, you should check it out.

I got this game a couple months ago, but was disappointed unfortunately. I do usually love rhythm games though. Great review though.

I love the animation and premise of the game, but it’s just so hard to match the beat imo lol
I’m not a rhythm gamer but it’s a bit confusing to me how I can’t hit the enmities when they reach my zone from the start. It doesn’t register until the enemy is already in my zone, hitting me so it’s a bit annoying lol :,)
