NUMB. I wrote this almost immediately after receiving bad news. My day felt ruined, and I thought of all the days I've felt this way, and how they bleed into one another. This was pre-quarantine. Now, I've realized the bad news was just bad perspective, but still a valid emotion to feel while coming to terms with it. "I wake up, I'm numb" is the musical expression of those days.
