I really like it that you tailor your exercises for the more senior persons too. Muscle weakness can creep up on us so quickly almost without even noticing to begin with. It makes so much sense to constantly keep our muscles toned ~ after all, that's all that's keeping us from collapsing into a heap on the floor!

Thank you. Lifting one gallon of water is 8.5 pounds and I want to be able to do that. I will start this exercise with half full. Thx! Iā€™m 67 and wish to avoid sarcopenia and osteopenia.

Everything you said in this video has been true for me! I started with 3 lb dumbbells and now Iā€™m up to 8 lbs. interesting how strengthening my back and shoulders made my upper traps feel less tight, they were really weak. Good stuff!

Im using this exercise in PT as I recover from a shoulder injury. So grateful for great PT help! Im feeling stronger so have two milk jugs that I have marked for adding water to increase weight to lift. A full gallon of milk is 8 lbs. Im using 2 lbs currently. Its free, easy to do. Im seeing results. Easy does it.
